If you read my regular blogs, I’m sure you know about this wonderful new program that uses mindfulness and meditation to help people tackle their chronic health issues. I’ve been following the verathon medical for a little over a year now and I have to say, I have been very impressed with the results. The program has helped my wife (a nurse) through a very difficult pregnancy, while also giving me the sense of control I needed to cope with her post-baby and post-cancer pregnancy.
We love the idea of using meditation and mindfulness to help people who may be having a hard time with their health issues overcome them. I think for a lot of people, though, the whole meditation part is hard to get past. Some people just aren’t able to put on socks the right way and others don’t have time to sit down and meditate for an hour every day.
